BNI Golden Horseshoe Region Wins Seven Awards!
BNI Golden Horseshoe Region made a terrific showing at the BNI Canadian National Director's conference this weekend.

Assistant Directors Deborah Foster-Stahle, Linda Forte-Spearing, Linda Powers and Blake Smith, who were all in attendance, along with Ambassador Wayne Daines and Executive Director, Christel Wintels were all award receipients at the Awards Gala on Satuday night (May 6).

 

Linda Powers received an award for having the Highest Average Chapter Membership in the Golden Horseshoe Region. Wayne Daines was recognized with the "Always There to Help" Award. The entire Director's Team received an award from Don Morgan, BNI Canadian National Director, for having the Largest International Conference Team from a single Canadian region at the International Conference in California in November.

The region was further recognized for our successful and well-attended regional awards gala and for achieving a Net Increase in Members. Executive Director, Christel Wintels was recognized for assisting in the creation of "The 90-Day Turnaround Program" and assisting in the revision of the Member Success Program (to be released this month).

The Golden Horseshoe Region has one of the strongest team of BNI Directors in the country and at the awards gala, it showed.

Golden Horseshoe Directors Present at the BNI Canadian Conference

The Golden Horseshoe Region was well-represented at the Canadian National Direcotor's conference, May 5 and 6.

 

The entire Director's Team hosted a Round Robin session on the afternoon of May 5. This session was attended by all conference delegates (80) and chaired by the Golden Horseshoe Region. The session was designed as an Open Forum to share ideas and best practices from around the country.

Deborah Foster-Stahle, Golden Golden Horseshoe Assistant Director, created and chaired the session and a specific subject was led each by ADs Linda Forte-Spearing, Linda Powers, Blake Smith, Ambassador Wayne Daines and ED, Christel Wintels.

Feedback reported that the session, new to the Conference Agenda, was enthusiastically received.
